Description

The Apple Dot Matrix Printer was a parallel port printer designed for use with the Apple II and Apple III lines.  It printed in black only and had a 120x72 dpi.  The speed was about 70 lines per minute. 

History

The first printer designed for use with Apples, the Apple Dot Matrix Printer was the only parallel port printer from Apple.  After this, serial port printers were the norm.
